Gala's YOUth Forum is open to the young and the queer. Although frequented by a group predominantly made up of students from the University of the Witwatersrand, it is open to all who wish to attend. The Forum is organised and facilitated by Anzio Jacobs, a gender-queer writer and editor of the Queer Realness, a LGBTQIA+ magazine in South Africa that discusses current or recent topical issues related to the Gala YOUth Forum.
