GALA invites applications for the position of Research Manager at the organisation.
The Research Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of multiple research projects, conceptualising new research projects, promoting buy-in and ownership of research projects by stakeholders, coordinating seminars, conferences, and workshops, and the provision of research capacity building training. Applicants should have a Masters degree or PhD (preferably in the social sciences), and at least two years experience in the management of research programmes or projects, and should have experience in undertaking research work. Applicants should have knowledge of sexuality and gender diversity issues in Africa, and the ability to travel extensively in southern Africa.
